About the Role
BEC Arabia is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support the Logistics team in managing procurement activities and ensuring smooth supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating material delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchasing requests in coordination with the logistics team
- Source suppliers, issue RFQs, and evaluate quotations
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for material movement
- Maintain supplier database and update records regularly
- Resolve any supply or delivery issues efficiently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Previous experience supporting logistics or supply chain operations is preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must)
- Must own a car (required for supplier visits and site coordination)
