About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support the Logistics team in managing procurement activities and ensuring smooth supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating material delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle purchasing requests in coordination with the logistics team
  • Source suppliers, issue RFQs, and evaluate quotations
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company procedures
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for material movement
  • Maintain supplier database and update records regularly
  • Resolve any supply or delivery issues efficiently

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Previous experience supporting logistics or supply chain operations is preferred
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must)
  • Must own a car (required for supplier visits and site coordination)
