Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Team Leader to join our team and lead procurement activities for LV Panel manufacturing and electrical projects.
The role will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle, developing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring the timely availability of materials in line with project requirements and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage procurement activities for LV Panels and electrical components.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base for electrical materials and components.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and technical requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Project teams to ensure material availability.
- Review purchase requisitions and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders.
- Follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and identify alternative suppliers and materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Lead and support the procurement team and distribute tasks effectively.
- Prepare procurement status reports and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in electrical manufacturing, LV Panels, switchgear, or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical components and materials.
- Experience in sourcing and procuring items such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, busbars, cables, enclosures, MCCBs, ACBs, MCCs, and related electrical components.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and management.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, commercial terms, and cost control.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English and Microsoft Office.
