Procurement Supervisor At Covertina
Role Overview
- Lead the procurement of packaging materials to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity.
- Supervise a team of buyers/planners and drive supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities. - Develop and execute packaging sourcing strategies; negotiate contracts and pricing
- Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and performance (quality, delivery, sustainability).
- Monitor market trends, Packaging material costs, and mitigate supply risks.
- Oversee inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and order fulfilment.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate procurement team members.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality on packaging specifications and cost-down initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
Requirements
1- Bachelor’s degree
2- 5+ years packaging procurement experience, especially in Food Industries.
3- Deep knowledge of packaging materials, suppliers, and industry dynamics.
4- Strong negotiation, analytical, and ERP skills (Odoo preferred).
5- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive results.
