Procurement Specialist At ABB

Your Role And Responsibilities You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements
  • Conducting all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensures SAP ARIBA global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Tools procedure.
  • Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price and tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
  • Applying and implementing PL standards, tools and processes in responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and Sustainability.

Qualifications For The Role

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • You have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Possess proficiency in working with SAP systems
  • You have strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • You possess demonstrated negotiation and time management abilities
  • Ability to perform strategic sourcing
