Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and value.
  • Ensure timely availability of packaging materials and spare/service parts to support production and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning and warehouse teams to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier capabilities to support sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure materials and service parts meet technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new product introductions by sourcing packaging solutions and required service components.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, and cost-saving analyses for management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in packaging procurement, preferably within manufacturing companies.
  • Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle systems.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, specifications, and supplier markets.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in FMCG, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
