mobica. looking to hire “Procurement Engineer”.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for local and foreign purchasing activities to support management decision-making.
– Conduct cost-benefit and sourcing analysis to determine the most efficient procurement approach considering cost, lead time, quality, and business requirements.
– Manage and monitor long-term procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial terms, contract validity, and supplier performance.
– Execute procurement activities including RFQs, supplier evaluation, purchase order issuance, negotiation, and order follow-up.
– Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Finance departments to ensure material availability and procurement alignment with operational requirements.
– Analyze supplier performance, purchasing trends, spending patterns, and procurement KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
– Monitor purchase order status, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments to minimize delays and operational risks.
– Support supplier sourcing, qualification, and development initiatives to improve supplier capabilities and procurement efficiency.
– Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, supplier records, and purchasing databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree: Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering.
– Experience: 4–6 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture, industrial, or engineering industries.
– Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Power BI (Preferred), ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle/Odoo/Microsoft Dynamics).
– Knowledge: Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Local & International, Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, Cost Analysis & Spend Analysis, Procurement Reporting & KPI Analysis, Incoterms & International Trade (Preferred), Supply Chain Fundamentals, Inventory Management, Negotiation Techniques.
