Gebtron is looking for a Procurement Engineer to join our team and help keep our industrial and machine package projects supplied, on cost, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Source and procure mechanical, electrical, and fabricated components for bulk material handling systems and machine packages.
Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and material certificates for compliance with project specifications.
Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and expediting to prevent project delays.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Project teams to align procurement with technical requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in procurement or supply chain within EPC, industrial, or manufacturing projects.
Strong ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and datasheets.
Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
