Job Description

Procurement

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance
  • Ensure procurement aligns with budget, quality, and delivery requirements

Import Operations

  • Coordinate international inbound shipments (sea, air, land)
  • Prepare and verify import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin)
  • Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and taxes
  • Track shipments and manage delays or discrepancies

Export Operations

  • Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery to international clients
  • Prepare export documentation (Export Invoice, Packing List, Certificates, Shipping Instructions)
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade laws
  • Liaise with shipping companies and freight forwarders
  • Monitor export schedules and customer requirements

General Logistics

  • Optimize transportation routes and reduce logistics costs
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement and shipping activities
  • Coordinate with warehouse and finance teams for inventory and payments
  • Handle claims related to damaged or lost shipments
  • Continuously improve supply chain processes
