About the Company

Abou El Yazeed is the largest automotive exhaust systems manufacturer in Egypt. We also produce tubes, and sheet metal components, serving OEMs and Tier-1 customers. To strengthen production control and material synchronization, we are seeking a highly disciplined Planning & MRP Specialist to lead production planning and material requirements planning across the company.

Role Purpose

The Planning & MRP Head is responsible for translating sales plan into feasible production plans, ensuring material availability, and maintaining system discipline within the MRP/ERP environment. This role is critical to production stability, inventory control, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling in alignment with customer demand and capacity.
• Own and maintain MRP logic, parameters, BOM accuracy, lead times, and safety stocks.
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Sales.
• Ensure material availability without overstocking or line stoppages.
• Monitor and report planning KPIs (schedule adherence, MRP accuracy, shortages, rescheduling frequency).
• Drive system discipline: master data accuracy, planning calendars, and cut-off rules.
• Support new product launches with proper planning setup and ramp-up control.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Supply Chain.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning / MRP within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar), exceptional skills using Excel.
• Solid understanding of capacity planning, BOMs, routings, and lead times.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage frequent changes professionally.
• Very good command of English.
