Planning Manager

For a textile company located in Giza specializes in Homewares:
We seek an active Planning_Manager:

Job Responsibilities:

* Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
* Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
* Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
* Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
* Product planning and creation of production schedules.
* Supervision and follow-up on production and manufacturing processes (everything related to children)
* Follow up on delivery dates and plans from suppliers and factories
* Determining the needs of raw materials and accessories and preparing orders for the inputs of the production processes
* Work on estimating and reducing costs as needed, in a way that does not harm the interests and objectives of the company
* Monitor production and solve problems related to the production process
* Develop a plan for urgent items to be produced according to the sales management needs
* Approving plans before sending them to factories – suppliers according to the standards required by the company
* Developing weekly and monthly evaluations regarding the performance of factories and resources, with recommendations
* Raising recommendations and suggestions regarding the production process and presenting them to the direct manager

Job Responsibilities:
* Experience in retail and homewares
* Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role
* Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
* Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
* Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
