Job Summary
The Demand Planning Coordinator position main objective is providing accurate demand forecasting by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure optimal inventory levels. The position-holder will monitor forecast accuracy, analyze demand trends, and provide insights to stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for aftersales service parts and finished products, considering historical data, seasonality, and market trends.
- Ensure the timely availability of spare parts and finished products for operation teams collaborating with purchasing, warehouse and logistics teams.
- Work with operation teams to plan and schedule aftersales service activities effectively.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely repairs and efficient service delivery.
- Analyze sales data, customer complaints, and service reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prioritize needs of spare parts and finished products according to complains or sales needs, and summarize needs to demand planning supervisor.
- Prepare and present demand planning reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administrative, Commerce, or in a related fields.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Ability to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
- Proficient in analyzing trends, patterns, and historical data to generate insights.
- Understanding inventory optimization to meet customer demand.
- Skilled in working with teams across departments to gather and align inputs.
- Capability to track, evaluate, and improve forecast performance.
- Aligning demand planning with business goals and performance metrics.
- Quickly adapting plans based on changing trends or inaccuracies
