- Receive and review RFQs from the sales team for air and sea import shipments .

- Negotiate rates, agreements, and long-term partnerships
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and service excellence
- Stay updated on global market trends and competitor activities
Subsidiary Tasks
- Receive and review RFQs from the sales team for air and sea import shipments.
- Communicate with international network agents via email to request freight quotations from origin countries.
- Ensure all RFQ details (shipment type, weight/volume, incoterms, timelines, special requirements) are clearly shared with agents.
- Follow up with network agents to ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Collect, review, and verify the accuracy of received quotations (rates, transit time, terms, validity).
- Prepare detailed comparison sheets analyzing multiple quotations from different agents.
- Evaluate offers based on cost, transit time, service reliability, and carrier options.
- Select the most competitive and suitable pricing offer aligned with company standards and customer requirements.
- Update RFQs with the best pricing solution and submit to the sales team within the required timeline.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all RFQs, quotations, and communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global network agents to secure competitive rates.
- Monitor market trends, freight rate fluctuations, and carrier updates to enhance pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international freight regulations.
- Support sales team in pricing strategies and provide alternative solutions when needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of air, sea freight, and international logistics operations
- Experience with specialized cargo (DG, exhibitions, live animals is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage international communications across different time zones .
