Operations Team Lead At WOROOD

Core Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end order processing from order release to final dispatch
  • Ensure daily dispatch targets are met based on order volume and SLAs
  • Plan manpower allocation according to workload and peak periods
  • Monitor workflow efficiency and remove operational bottlenecks
  • Ensure system data accuracy (order status, inventory movement, dispatch confirmation)

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise Operations Specialists, Fulfillment, Packing, and QC teams
  • Assign daily tasks and clearly communicate priorities and deadlines
  • Conduct daily briefings and end-of-day reviews
  • Coach team members to improve productivity and accuracy
  • Manage attendance, shifts, rotations, and task coverage

3. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure all orders meet company quality, packing, and branding standards
  • Reduce picking, packing, and dispatch errors
  • Implement and enforce SOPs and operational guidelines
  • Conduct random audits on packed and dispatched orders
  • Ensure health, safety, and warehouse compliance standards are followed

4. Performance Monitoring & KPIs

  • Track and analyze KPIs such as:
  • Orders dispatched per day
  • Order accuracy rate
  • Team productivity and efficiency
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
  • Identify performance gaps and create corrective action plans

5. Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose improvements
  • Support automation, system upgrades, and process standardization
  • Reduce operational costs without impacting quality or delivery timelines
  • Improve space utilization and picking/packing flow

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve order issues and escalations
  • Work closely with Inventory, IT, and Finance teams to ensure data alignment
  • Communicate operational risks and capacity constraints to management
  • Support sales campaigns and promotions by planning operational capacity

7. Problem Solving & Escalation

  • Act as the first escalation point for operational issues
  • Resolve urgent order delays, manpower shortages, and system errors
  • Take immediate corrective actions during peak periods
  • Ensure minimal operational disruption during crises

Authority & Decision-Making

  • Allocate manpower and assign shifts within approved limits
  • Approve task re-prioritization based on operational needs
  • Recommend hiring, training, or disciplinary actions
  • Escalate critical risks and resource gaps to Operations Manager

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, fulfillment, or logistics ( Fashion field )
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Preferred Experience with OMS, WMS, or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments

Work Schedule

Thursday and Saturday are rotational working days, based on operational needs

5 working days per week
