Operations Manager

For immediate hiring “Operations Manager” to join our team at a large manufacturer of tissue and paper products. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational process.
 
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
A.        Strategic Responsibilities:
·        Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
·        Formulate strategic and operational objectives
·        Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability
·        Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
B.         Operational Responsibilities:
·        Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
·        Improve operational management systems, processes
·        Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
·        Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
·        Managing all operations team (Production, Maintenance, Quality)
·        Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process
·        Monitoring daily operation schedules for all departments for accuracy and ensuring daily operational goals are realized
·        Ensure maintenance PM schedule meets equipment guidelines and coincides with operations schedules
·        Track key performance indicators of operations including quality, service, safety, and cost. Share operation’s goals and guidelines for achieving the goals with facility leadership
·        Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
·        Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of production standards.
 
Qualification, Experience, & Skills:
 
·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineer Master’s degree preferred
·        Minimum: 5-10 experience operations manager in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on manufacturing paper and tissue products.
