Operations Manager At LGL “Alex”

We’re Hiring: Operations Manager

Lightning Global Logistics is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the operations team, ensuring smooth execution of shipments, and maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage daily freight forwarding operations (Sea, Air & Land Freight).
– Supervise the operations team and ensure efficient handling of import and export shipments.
– Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents.
– Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients.
– Review and approve shipping documentation (B/L, invoices, manifests, arrival notices, etc.).
– Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and global partners.
– Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree .
– Minimum 6 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
– Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is required.
– Age: 30 years or above.
– Strong knowledge of Sea, Air, and Land Freight operations.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
– Excellent command of English.
– Alexandria residents only.
