Operations & Logistics Manager At Sahara for Fruit

Sahara for Fruit Processing is looking for an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to join our team and lead our end-to-end operations and logistics activities.
Location: 5th Settlement, New Cairo, Egypt
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations & Logistics team and daily operations.
• Oversee the complete order fulfillment cycle from customer order to delivery and payment follow-up.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance.
• Manage local and export shipments, including vessels, containers, trucks, and freight forwarders.
• Oversee export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements and Incoterms.
• Plan and monitor shipment schedules, container/TEU requirements, and delivery commitments.
• Manage and negotiate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, brokers, and logistics service providers.
• Drive logistics cost optimization and minimize operational and shipment risks.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, order fulfillment, logistics costs, and shipment performance.
• Ensure accurate ERP data, reporting, and visibility throughout the order and shipment lifecycle.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service levels.
  Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Order Fulfillment, Export, or Supply Chain, including managerial/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of export operations, international shipping, documentation, and Incoterms.
• Proven experience dealing with shipping lines, freight forwarders, brokers, and logistics providers.
• ERP experience; Odoo is a plus.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing is a strong advantage.
