Miramar Logistics Services & Shipping Agency is seeking an experienced NVOCC Operations Manager to take overall operational control of our NVOCC activities and ensure efficient execution from booking to final delivery, while supporting our commercial growth and service excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and control daily NVOCC & Ocean Freight operations.
Coordinate with Principals, Shipping Lines, Vessel Operators, Port Agents, and Service Providers.
Manage booking space allocation, vessel schedules, and shipment planning.
Ensure proper control of HBL/MBL, SI, Manifest, VGM, and shipment documentation.
Monitor container movement, demurrage, detention, and shipment status.
Handle customer service and coordination with internal departments.
Supervise team performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Documentation, and Customer Service.
REQUIREMENTS
8 years of experience in Shipping/Ocean Freight; Freight Forwarding experience, 3+ years in NVOCC operations.
Strong hands-on knowledge of NVOCC & Shipping operations.
Strong understanding of NVOCC Principals, Shipping Lines, Vessel Agents, Slot Providers, and Operations.
Strong knowledge of HBL/MBL, SI, Manifest, VGM, and related documentation.
Good command of English.
Excellent communication and MS Excel skills.
