Logistics & Supply Chain Manager – Egypt


Location: Obour City, Egypt
Industry: Industrial Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all customs clearance, import documentation, freight forwarding, and shipping activities.
* Stay fully updated on Egyptian customs regulations, tariffs, HS codes, and required official documentation.
* Ensure timely clearance of imported shipments and minimize delays, penalties, demurrage, detention, and unnecessary costs.
* Manage customs brokers, freight forwarders, transportation companies, and logistics service providers.
* Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, storage, and dispatching.
* Plan and manage delivery of finished products to customers and project sites.
* Coordinate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Sales, Projects, and Finance to ensure smooth material and product flow.
* Monitor logistics costs, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and clearance lead times.
* Support continuous improvement of logistics and warehouse procedures and ensure accurate ERP transactions.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 8–10 years of relevant experience, including managerial responsibility.
* Strong experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Excellent knowledge of customs clearance, import procedures, shipping documentation, Incoterms, warehousing, and transportation.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Very good command of English and Arabic.

Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or CILT are an advantage.
