Logistics Specialist – Import Operations

📍 Location: Obour City, Egypt
SHM Industries is looking for a qualified Logistics Specialist with hands-on experience in Import Operations, Inbound Shipment Follow-up, Customs Clearance, and Nafeza / ACID.
If you have solid experience in following import shipments from supplier readiness until final delivery to the factory or warehouse, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up import shipments from supplier dispatch until final delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transporters.
• Handle and review shipping documents including B/L, AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, and related import documents.
• Follow up Nafeza / ACID / CargoX procedures.
• Monitor ETD / ETA, shipment status, customs clearance progress, delays, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities and required documentation.
• Follow up transportation and ensure smooth delivery to the factory/warehouse.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, finance, and other internal departments.
• Maintain accurate shipment trackers and periodic logistics reports.
• Support export operations when required.
  Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Import Operations, Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, or similar roles.
• Strong practical experience in Import Shipment Follow-up.
• Good knowledge of Nafeza / ACID procedures.
• Experience dealing with Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, and Suppliers.
• Good understanding of Sea & Air Freight.
• SAP / ERP experience is preferred.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and English.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing companies is highly preferred, especially in Steel Structures, Metal Fabrication, Fuel Tanks, Engineering Industries, or similar sectors.
• Export experience is considered an added advantage.
