🚨 WE’RE HIRING | LOGISTICS & IMPORT/EXPORT SPECIALIST
Garden Fruit is looking for an experienced Logistics & Import/Export Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee end-to-end import and export operations.
– Handle customs clearance, port operations, and container handling efficiently.
– Coordinate the logistics of agricultural crops, ensuring compliance with quality, storage, and reefer container standards.
– Communicate and negotiate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and agents to secure optimal rates and operational efficiency.
– Prepare and review all required shipping and export/import documentation, including:
– Commercial Invoices
– Certificates of Origin
– Phytosanitary Certificates
– Bills of Lading
– And other relevant shipping documents
Requirements & Qualifications
– Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, import, and export operations.
– Proven experience handling agricultural commodities/crops.
– Strong knowledge of port clearance procedures and container management, including both standard and reefer containers.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills with shipping lines and customs brokers.
