Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Engineer to join our technical sales team ,support our growing customer base and acts as the crucial link between technical energy solutions and customer needs, focusing on selling hardware/software that tracks energy usage to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability. This role requires 2–5 years of technical experience to identify leads, present complex technical solutions, and manage the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients, conducting site visits to evaluate energy infrastructure and assess technical requirements.
- Technical Proposals & Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations and tailored proposals, explaining how energy monitoring systems will improve performance.
- Product Demos & Optimization: Conduct product demonstrations and propose customized solutions, such as retrofitting existing systems, to meet client needs.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing, utilizing CRM tools (like HubSpot) to record interactions and track opportunities.
- Pre- and Post-Sales Technical Support: Act as a technical expert to guide clients on energy optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy industry developments and monitor competitor activity, providing feedback to management.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, particularly in Energy management, Energy Controlling and renewable energy .
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of energy monitoring systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, or energy analytics software.
- Communication: Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
