International Procurement Specialist At Nawah Scientific

Job Description Procurement Process Management

  • Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery for pharmaceutical materials, lab equipment, and services.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and recommend suppliers for Supply Chain Manager approval.
  • Generate purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation in ERP system (Odoo).

Vendor Management

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new vendors in alignment with Supply Chain Manager’s strategy.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within authorized thresholds.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues to Supply Chain Manager as needed.

Logistics & Compliance

  • Coordinate with logistics teams for timely clearance of imported materials (customs, freight, cold chain).
  • Ensure all purchases comply with pharmaceutical regulations (SFDA/FDA) and company policies.
  • Maintain audit-ready procurement records and documentation.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication

  • Partner with scientific and QA teams to proactively anticipate material needs and align procurement with project timelines.
  • Deliver structured procurement briefings to Supply Chain Manager, highlighting risks, cost opportunities, and supply status.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting of critical purchasing challenges in coordination with the Supply Chain Manager and technical teams.
  • Serve as procurement liaison between operations and finance teams to ensure budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with QA to validate supplier documentation meets pharmaceutical standards

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor market trends and report cost-saving opportunities to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.

Job Requirements Must to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific speciality.
  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing in pharmaceutical industries or toll companies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Nice To Have

  • Hands on experience in ERP Odoo system.
  • Experience with tendering processes and supplier audits.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations for imported materials.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods, statistical analysis software.
  • Certification in Supply Chain/Procurement (CPSM, CSCP).
