Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Import & Logistics Coordinator to manage and follow up on our international shipments from suppliers to final clearance in Egypt.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-efficient import operations.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with international suppliers to confirm shipment readiness and documentation
- Request and compare freight rates from forwarders
- Communicate with freight forwarders to arrange shipments (sea/air)
- Follow up on shipping schedules, ETAs, and transit updates
- Review and collect required documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.)
- Upload and manage documentation on CargoX platform
- Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth clearance process
- Track shipments from origin to warehouse delivery
- Maintain organized records of all shipments and documentation
- Proactively follow up with all parties to avoid delays
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in import, logistics, or supply chain (preferred)
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with shipping documents and logistics processes is a plus
- Basic knowledge of CargoX is a plus (training can be provided)
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
