Grocery Buyer Department Head is required to join Panda “Egypt” retail company – Savola
Functional Accountabilities:
• Quantify and qualify the market situation through potential surveys for the category with market research and supplier’s data for negotiation purpose.
• Manage & Analyzes key themes using data from a wide range of sources and
Identifies possible impacts on the business.
• Select appropriate data from information provided by others and input that data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Negotiate with supplier on product assortment and price. Involves working either on a small to medium category of products, merchandise or services or on specified products and services within a large category.
• Develop and execute negotiation parameter according to supplier classification (Income & Condition related)
• Manages important supplier’s relationships via relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
Experience, skills & competencies: –
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in retail industry.
• Bachelor degree.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Negotiation
• Commercial, Financial & Numerical Acumen
· Costing and Budgeting
· Vendor Management
