Electronics purchasing Specialist

* Source and procure building materials, decorative items, and related products from local suppliers to meet company requirements.
* Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to secure optimal deals and maintain cost efficiency.
* Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
* Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
* Track and report on order status, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.
* Resolve any issues related to, product quality, or discrepancies in orders.
* Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
* Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
* Stay informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

* 1-3 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within the retail sector
* Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
* Solid understanding of local market dynamics and supplier networks.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft dynamics 365 and Office applications.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders a nd maintaining records.
* Problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges and resolve conflicts.
* Familiarity with inventory management principles
