Role Description The Distribution Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Tanta, responsible for supporting daily distribution and logistics operations. This role includes receiving, organizing, and dispatching orders, coordinating with warehouse and delivery teams, and ensuring accurate documentation of inventory movements. The Distribution Representative will communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to confirm delivery details, resolve basic issues, and maintain service quality. They will assist in tracking shipments, monitoring stock levels, and following company procedures to support smooth, timely, and cost-effective distribution. The role also involves adhering to safety standards, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and updating supervisors on any operational challenges.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage order processing, inventory handling, and basic warehouse or logistics tasks.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, delivery personnel, and customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and data entry.
- Basic proficiency with computers and office or inventory software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Tanta and perform duties that may require standing, lifting, or moving goods within safety guidelines.
- Prior experience in distribution, logistics, or retail operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
