Contracts Specialist

We’re Hiring: Contracts Specialist
📍 Location: Cairo, Egypt
Join a leading multinational construction company and contribute to managing contractual and commercial activities across major infrastructure, energy, and EPC projects, supporting project success throughout the lifecycle.

🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
• EPC contracting experience is preferred

💼 Experience
• 5–8 years of experience in contracts, commercial, or contract administration roles within infrastructure, power, or energy projects
• Experience in claims and contract administration is preferred

🎯 Required Skills & Knowledge
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract forms (Red, Yellow, and Silver Books)
• Experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiations
• Knowledge of project lifecycle, cost control, and schedule impacts
• Understanding of risk management and contractual risk allocation
• Experience with subcontracts, supplier agreements, and procurement support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
• Understanding of utility and infrastructure contracting practices (SEC or similar)
• Strong English communication and contract correspondence skills

📌 Key Responsibilities
• Support contractual and commercial activities from tendering through project close-out
• Review, draft, and administer EPC contracts, consortium agreements, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and purchase orders
• Analyze tender documents (ITB, RFP, RFQ) and identify contractual risks, clarifications, and deviations
• Support bid preparation through contractual reviews, risk assessments, and commercial input
• Assist in contract strategy implementation, including risk allocation and commercial terms
• Support administration of variations, change orders, claims, and EOT submissions
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, warranties, guarantees, insurances, and bonds
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure contract compliance
• Maintain contract records and support dispute resolution and project close-out activities
