Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing & Procurement
- Execute end-to-end procurement cycles for site-specific requirements (materials, consumables, and subcontractor services).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers in the Al Minya region to optimize logistics and support the local economy.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure maximum cost savings without compromising quality.
2. Contract Management
- Draft, review, and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and site-specific contracts.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual KPIs and handle any disputes or claims professionally.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company risk management policies.
3. Site Logistics & Inventory Control
- Coordinate with the Site Manager to forecast material needs and prevent project delays.
- Oversee the receiving process at the Al Minya site to verify that deliveries match purchase orders (POs) and quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement logs and inventory records for audit purposes.
4. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports, highlighting cost variances and lead times.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the company’s “Code of Conduct” and transparency protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement or contract administration, preferably in Construction, Manufacturing, or Oil & Gas.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Location Flexibility: Must be willing to be based in Al Minya (80% of the time).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation tactics, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote site environment.
- Languages: Excellent command of Arabic and English (written and verbal).
