Head Sourcing & Exports At Alpha Leadership

About the Role

You will lead end-to-end sourcing and export operations—connecting global suppliers with regional retailers and distributors, while also taking local brands to international markets. The role combines strategic sourcing, export execution, and commercial leadership to unlock growth across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

1. Export & Market Expansion

• Build and manage strong relationships between FMCG clients and international distributors
• Lead export operations including documentation, shipping, and customs (through your team)
• Identify and penetrate new markets to expand global footprint
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and country-specific requirements
• Optimize logistics, costs, and lead times in collaboration with partners

2. Strategic Sourcing

• Develop sourcing strategies for private label and finished food products
• Leverage scale to secure competitive pricing from global suppliers
• Build and manage a strong supplier base with consistent quality standards
• Lead commercial negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity

3. Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional teams across sourcing, procurement, and exports
• Collaborate closely with clients to integrate and scale successful business models
• Act as a key liaison between suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG (preferably food), with strong exposure to exports and commercial operations
• Proven experience managing distributor networks across multiple markets
• Deep understanding of global trade regulations and export processes
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
• Established network of buyers and distributors across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe
• High integrity and a data-driven mindset, with openness to leveraging AI in decision-making
• Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
