About the Role
As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a detailed-oriented Warehouse Officer to join our Mondi Suez team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the absolute accuracy of both perpetual and physical inventories, while managing timely SAP inventory transactions. This role requires close collaboration with the broader Operations and Supply Chain teams—including production, maintenance, procurement, and third-party logistics providers—to maintain seamless warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage in Mondi’s Safety programs and ensure full compliance with local and corporate health and safety regulations
- Coordinate all physical inventory activities and cycle counts with the Finance department
- Analyze departmental performance metrics, track inventory root-cause issues, and implement corrective actions for discrepancies
- Partner with the Purchasing team to recommend safety stock levels and reorder points for operating supplies, packaging, chemicals, and inks
- Process and document all approved scrap transactions within the system
- Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate with operations to ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- Serve as the key warehouse liaison for internal departments, customers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and safely handle all warehouse products, tools, and equipment
- Work a scheduled shift from Saturday to Thursday in a dynamic manufacturing plant environment
Qualifications
- University degree in logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, and inventory control within an industrial environment
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, cycle counting, and data analysis
- High proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships respectfully across departments
- Ability to work comfortably in a manufacturing plant layout with moving machinery
- Experience with SAP software (highly preferred)
- Very good English skills
