What you will need to do:
- Analyses tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs
- Develop detailed cost estimates including direct and indirect costs
- Prepare and evaluate material and subcontractor enquiries and quotations
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Assist in preparing tender schedules and Level 2 programs
- Support the preparation of technical submittals
- Coordinate with internal departments for tender inputs
- Prepare cost estimation reports and present them to management
- Conduct risk and opportunity analysis
- Prepare preliminary budgets and cash flow scenarios
- Assist in contractual reviews and commercial evaluations
- Support joint venture (JV) / consortia tender activities and coordination.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 10+ years of experience in construction industry
- Strong background in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and Technical Office
- Solid experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost control
- Previous exposure to tendering / pre-contract activities
- Good understanding of contracts, variations, and commercial aspects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Very good command of English
