Role Description
The Mechanical Tendering Team Leader will oversee and manage all mechanical tendering operations to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines. The role involves preparing and reviewing tender documentation, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and leading cost estimation activities. The candidate will work closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and manage project bids effectively. This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Maintenance and Inspection to ensure project quality and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
- Experience in utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for mechanical design and planning
- Familiarity with the automotive sector or similar industries is advantageous
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate team efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced certifications would be beneficial
- Prior experience in tendering within the construction or real estate industries is preferred
