Key Responsibilities Sourcing and Sales Support

  • Source compliant products locally and internationally per client specifications.
  • Provide timely pricing and quotations based on delivery terms.
  • Support sales with pricing and sourcing for projects and tenders.
  • Prepare and submit quotations to stakeholders.

Procurement

  • Review purchase orders and requisitions to place orders.
  • Store POs and fast‑track urgent orders.
  • Monitor deliveries and report OTIF performance.
  • Resolve shortages, excesses, and damaged goods promptly.
  • Report supplier delivery KPIs.

Logistics and Expediting

  • Ensure timely delivery of medical supplies.
  • Prepare accurate shipping and customs documents.
  • Track shipments and support customs clearance.
  • Provide logistics support to teams when needed.

Billing and Credit Control

  • Reconcile supplier invoices and support client billing.
  • Enter billing data with supporting documents.
  • Assist in resolving invoice issues.

Supplier Management

  • Source and recommend qualified suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations.
  • Manage vendor orders, lead times, and escalations.
  • Monitor supplier performance.
  • Follow up on supplier payments.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts regularly.

Cost Management

  • Control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Manage and allocate central stock correctly.
  • Optimize ordering and shipping efficiency.

Operations

  • Follow International SOS SOPs.
  • Support equipment calibration and repairs.
  • Manage rental kits inventory and invoicing.
  • Maintain storage inventory records.
  • Monitor cold chain temperatures.
  • Support recalls and product traceability.
  • Prepare MSS reports.
  • Produce monthly KPI reports.
  • Close audit action items.

Compliance

  • Ensure MSS activities comply with standards and local regulations.

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years’ supply chain experience with end‑to‑end operational knowledge.
  • 2–3 years in a medically focused organization (pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, consumables).
  • Knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain, procurement, logistics, and medical supply processes.

Qualifications

  • Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Qualification in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or business with experience.
  • Pharmacy qualification is an added advantage.

Languages

  • Fluent written and spoken English & Arabic.
  • French is an advantage.

Travel

  • Own transport required.
  • Local travel within a 20km radius required.
  • Occasional travel to African countries may be required.
