About the job

Responsibilities:

1. Assist WSCs prepare procurement plans, work plans and reviewing bidding documents and cost estimates for works, goods, and or services;

2. Review and Monitor the bidding process for works and goods, preparation of bid evaluation reports and award of contracts;

3. Assist WSCs in day to day management of construction contracts quality monitoring, verification of contractor claims, assessment of price escalations, checking revisions to contracts, etc.;

4. Assist WSCs to develop tender documents regarding maintenance or service contracts for specific activities, post construction maintenance of assets and other similar tasks;

5. Assist in preparing and updating the Program procurement plans and all other procurement related documentations;

6. Follow up the WSCs in the procurement’s Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) under DLI#3 (KPI5 to KP19) to ensure the successful implementation of the KPls

7. Any other relevant work support the achievements of the Program targets

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering / quantity surveying / construction management – Mandatory.
2. Specialization in Contracts / Commercial Management – Preferred
3. Experience in marine / coastal / infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
4. Strong understanding of Tendering processes, Contract administration, and Procurement coordination.
5. 10 – 12+ years of experience.
