Import Logisitcs Specialist At Gulf American

Job Summary:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Logistics Specialist, located in El Sheikh Zayed. The Import Specialist will manage import operations and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating shipment logistics, preparing and reviewing documentation, communicating with stakeholders in the supply chain, foreign agents, customs brokers, and resolving any import-related issues. The role also requires collaboration with internal teams to optimize processes and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end import shipments (sea, air, and land) into Egypt
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely clearance
• Prepare and review all import documentation (B/L, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian customs regulations and requirements
• Monitor shipment status and proactively handle any delays or issues
• Calculate and verify duties, taxes, and other import-related costs
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for all import activities
• Liaise with internal teams to align on delivery timelines and requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in import logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations, clearance procedures, and documentation
• Experience dealing with NAFEZA, ACID system, and relevant government platforms
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Existing relationships with customs brokers and authorities are a plus.
