Planning Lead At Orascom

Production Planning (Assembly CKD, SKD & Battery management)

• Develop detailed production plans for:
  • Motorcycle assembly lines
  • Battery charging, testing, and installation
• Ensure alignment between CKD/SKD kits, battery supply, and production targets
• Sequence production based on priority models and demand

2. Material & Component Planning

• Ensure availability of:
  • Imported kits (CKD/SKD)
  • Batteries and charging cycles
  • Critical spare parts
• Coordinate closely with Procurement to avoid shortages
• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory

3. Capacity & Operations Management

• Plan based on:
  • Line capacity
  • Labor availability
  • Battery charging capacity
• Identify bottlenecks (e.g., charging stations, welding, painting)
• Adjust plans to reduce idle time and maximize throughput

4. Coordination with Operations

• Work closely with:
  • Production (assembly, welding, painting)
  • Warehouse (inbound/outbound materials)
  • Fleet/logistics (distribution readiness)
• Ensure daily execution of production plan

5. KPI Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and report:
  • Production adherence (%)
  • On-time order fulfillment
  • Battery readiness vs plan
  • Line efficiency
• Highlight risks and propose corrective actions

6. System & Process Management

• Use ERP/MRP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle ERP
• Maintain accurate BOMs, routing, and planning parameters
• Improve planning accuracy and system utilization

7. Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean practices to reduce waste
• Improve planning cycle time and responsiveness
• Support cost reduction initiatives (inventory, scrap, idle time)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• 4–7 years’ experience in manufacturing planning MRP & MPS (preferably automotive or industry)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Assembly operations
  • MRP. MPS
  • Inventory control
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems
