Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Searching for new clients and conduct meeting with them and saving our previous ones.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their shipping and logistics needs.
- Present and promote the company’s freight, warehousing, and logistics solutions to prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Plan weekly visits for current customers and new ones.
- Covering all required exhibitions as much as possible inside or outside Country.
- Collect customer feedback and market research.
- Coordinating operational teams internally to execute on sales agreements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry 0-3 years.
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, freight rates, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to lead team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
- [Optional] A bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in sales, Is a must in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry at least 4-5 years.
