Construction Manager – Logistics & Project Delivery

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in construction logistics to lead on‑site execution and ensure efficient coordination of materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors. The role is critical to maintaining schedule certainty, cost control, and safety, particularly on complex or constrained sites.

This position bridges construction execution and supply‑chain coordination, ensuring that logistics planning actively supports construction productivity and minimizes delays.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Management

  • Manage day‑to‑day construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain continuous workflow
  • Monitor progress against the construction program and implement corrective actions when required
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Develop and implement construction logistics plans aligned with project phasing and site constraints
  • Plan and control delivery scheduling for materials, equipment, and prefabricated elements
  • Coordinate off‑site storage, just‑in‑time deliveries, and material handling strategies
  • Manage site access, laydown areas, temporary works, and traffic management plans
  • Proactively identify logistics risks and resolve supply bottlenecks

Cost, Schedule & Risk Control

  • Track material usage, deliveries, and inventory to prevent waste and rehandling
  • Support cost forecasting and cash‑flow planning related to logistics and site operations

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

  • Liaise with project managers, planners, procurement teams, and design consultants
  • Lead site coordination meetings with subcontractors and logistics providers
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and logistics performance

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 10 years’ experience in construction management, with proven logistics involvement
  • Experience managing logistics on large, multi‑trade or fast‑paced construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, and supply‑chain dependencies
