RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for construction equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.
- Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians in best practices for equipment care, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
- Create and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and potential issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align maintenance activities with project timelines.
- Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements for aging equipment based on performance data and industry trends.
- Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts, and resource allocation effectively.
- Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment, systems, and maintenance practices.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and mentoring.
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and predictive maintenance technologies.
