Warehouse Section Head Ay Egyptian Steel
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Section Head to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing inventory, optimizing space, and coordinating cross-functionally to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, issuing, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
· Enforce proper product identification, labeling, traceability, and stacking methods to safeguard product integrity and prevent damage.
· Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
· Optimize warehouse space utilization through effective layout and storage planning.
· Supervise the preparation and loading of customer orders to meet delivery schedules.
· Collaborate with sales, logistics, and production departments to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain needs.
· Oversee all weighbridge operations for incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring precise recording of truck and material weights.
· Manage inventory of maintenance spare parts, tools, consumables, and critical equipment components, ensuring timely issuance to maintenance and production teams.
· Coordinate with maintenance departments on critical spare availability and proper storage and preservation practices.
· Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded in the SAP system, maintaining data integrity and traceability.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
· 10–12 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with demonstrated supervisory capability.
· Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is essential.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and interface effectively across functions.
