We are looking for #Warehouse Section Head

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the flow of materials (receiving, storage, and issuing), ensuring accurate and timely posting in SAP.

2. Develop and implement effective material planning and inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, avoid shortages, and minimize excess/obsolete inventory.

3. Maintain up-to-date and precise inventory records through robust stock control systems and conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliation with SAP.

4. Ensure all warehouse and inventory transactions are properly documented, and records are accurately maintained for audits and reporting.

5. Coordinate with the Procurement and Production Planning Departments to align material deliveries (Sand, Dolomite, Cement, Filler, Solar, Gas Cylinders) with production schedules and business needs.

6. Monitor and follow up on daily, weekly, and monthly material deliveries, ensuring timely availability and resolving discrepancies.

7. Plan and manage truck movement within the factory premises, including truck scale operations, to optimize turnaround times.

8. Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and handling equipment usage while strictly adhering to safety regulations and operational efficiency.

9. Lead, supervise, and train the warehouse team (supervisors and storekeepers), ensuring competency in inventory planning and SAP processes.

10. Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and service-level targets.

11. Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance, inventory, and stock movement reports; provide recommendations for improvement.

12. Identify and implement process improvements in warehouse planning, material handling, and stock management to support continuous improvement initiatives.

13. Ensure compliance with all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.

Education & Professional Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

2. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management.

3. · In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.

4. · Certification in Lean Techniques (5S, SOP, Performance Management, etc.) is an advantage.

5. · Proficient in SAP Materials Management (MM) module.

6. · Strong time management and delegation skills.

7. · Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

8. · Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

9. · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

10. · Fluent in English (spoken and written).

11. · Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
