About the Role
We are looking to hire two Technical Purchasing Engineers to join our procurement team—one with a Mechanical Engineering background and one with an Electrical Engineering background. This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness to support efficient and cost-effective purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to identify suitable materials and equipment
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value (cost, quality, and delivery)
Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and analyze vendor offers
Collaborate with engineering, project, and maintenance teams to ensure technical compliance
Manage purchase orders and track delivery schedules
Ensure purchased items meet required standards and specifications
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
Monitor market trends, pricing, and new technologies
Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
