Supply Chain Supervisor (Steel Industry)
Industry: Iron & Steel / Steel Structure & Fabrications
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Oversight: Manage the complete supply chain cycle, from sourcing raw materials (steel plates, beams, pipes, and welding consumables) to final on-site delivery.
Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and build strong relationships with local and international steel suppliers. Negotiate the best prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Production, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure material availability and prevent any project downtime.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, implement efficient warehousing practices, and minimize material waste or scrap.
Logistics & Customs: Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and inland transportation to ensure safe and timely delivery of materials.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain KPIs, procurement costs, and supplier performance to senior management.

Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in Supply Chain / Procurement, strictly within the Steel Structure or Iron & Steel industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Professional certifications like CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD are highly preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of steel grades, raw materials, fabrication processes, and market price trends.
Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
Languages: Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
