Responsibilities

  • Leads the Cross category planning processes for Global Business Services
  • Manages the GBS cross category Cluster team
  • Works with the RemainCo organization to ensure delivery of AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets
  • Accountable for delivery of key KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) (eg Service / Inventory targets / Obsolescence)
  • Works with the BU & contributes to ensuring an effective monthly S&OP (Sales and Operating Plan) cycle
  • Integration point between Market and GBS – represents GBS at strategic meetings with the market
  • Accountable for production plans creation. Ensure delivery of an optimised cross-site manufacturing supply plan, that can be scheduled, to maintain the target stock holding of all SKU’s (stock keeping unit) to deliver service to Business Units’s
  • Accountable to create constrained capacity production plans within the planning horizon and escalation whenever needed
  • Accountable for the review of detailed line scheduling plans
  • Highlight Risk, work on mitigation plans and escalate to RemainCo lead if required
  • Accountable for inventory and business waste projections with the market.
  • Accountable for effective & timely Master data management
  • Accountable for New innovation pipeline management
  • Responsible to prepare, contribute and execute Supply Review for Platform/Hub as part of the weekly Sales &Operating Execution (IS&OP) and monthly Sales & Operating Plan (S&OP) cycle and SMR (Supply Monthly Review)
  • Manage GCC Supply Planning, Innovation Coordinators & MDM Team for the Category (8 – 10 Direct reports)

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree
  • 10+ Years of Experience.
  • Highly Experienced in all Planning aspects
  • Line management experience
  • High level of knowledge & understanding of the end to end supply systems & processes
  • Proficiency in product category planning
  • Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions / departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing or End to end planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
  • Understanding the links between production plans, plant AOP’s, productivity initiatives and customer service
  • Team lead experience
  • Problem solving know-how
  • Analytic skills
  • Masters planning methodologies like heuristics, optimization etc
  • Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies
