Supply Chain Manager At El Arabia for Import & Export
El Arabia for Import & Export is hiring a #Supply_Chain_Manager
We are a growing company specialized in the import and export of pharmaceutical raw materials for the human and veterinary sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage purchasing and supply plans based on sales forecasts, customer requirements, and inventory levels.
- Manage sourcing and procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials, APIs, Excipients, and related materials.
- Manage and develop relationships with international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, MOQs, Lead Times, Incoterms, and other commercial conditions.
- Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders and supplier confirmations.
- Manage the full import process from order confirmation through delivery to the company warehouse.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs brokers, Finance, Warehouse, Sales, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Monitor inventory levels, incoming shipments, slow-moving and excess stock.
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of import, quality, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify alternative sources to minimize supply risks.
- Lead and supervise the Supply Chain team and ensure effective follow-up of purchases, shipments, and suppliers.
- Provide management with regular updates on supply chain activities, risks, and challenges.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Import, or Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in Pharmaceutical Raw Materials is required.
- Experience with APIs, Excipients, or pharmaceutical ingredients is a strong advantage.
- Strong experience dealing with international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Good knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Very good command of English.
Location: El Mokattam, Cairo
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Hours)
Days Off: Friday & Saturday
