Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Procurement & Logistics Specialist with strong market awareness and international sourcing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing procurement operations, coordinating with planning and logistics teams, and driving cost-effective sourcing strategies in alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities Market & Supplier Research:
- Conduct market research across local and international markets as assigned by the Marketing Coordinator.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers; support supplier mapping and cross-trading initiatives within the group.
- Monitor market trends, innovations, and competitor activities relevant to packaging and raw materials.
Procurement Coordination
- Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to place, track, and manage purchase orders.
- Maintain and update supplier information and contract details in the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement in sourcing processes and cost optimization.
Data Management & Reporting
- Create and maintain supplier and customer data, including accurate address and contact information.
- Compile sales and purchasing data, perform statistical analyses, and prepare regular reports for leadership.
- Communicate market intelligence and procurement performance updates to the Regional Manager and other stakeholders.
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to the Quality Assurance system and contribute to the development of procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and sustainability goals.
Candidate Requirements Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and/or logistics, preferably in an industrial or packaging environment.
- Experience in local and international sourcing, and a strong understanding of supplier management.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, learning-oriented attitude.
