Job Description:
– Source and develop local suppliers for direct materials and production components.
– Evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing processes, technical competence, and production capacity.
– Support supplier qualification activities (audits, sample submission, validation, production approval).
– Coordinate with R&D and Quality to ensure materials comply with specifications.
– Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change activities.
– Lead localization initiatives by replacing imported materials with local alternatives.
– Register new suppliers in relevant systems and ensure documentation compliance.
– Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, improvement).
– Maintain sourcing records, databases, quotations, contracts, and reports.
– Prepare sourcing and supplier performance reports for management.
Job Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or related field.
– 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier development for direct materials in manufacturing.
– Experience working with local suppliers is required.
– Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
– Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
