Senior Production Planning At Simplex CNC
Location: 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt
Simplex CNC is looking for a highly organized and analytical Production Planning Engineer to support our manufacturing operations by developing production schedules, optimizing resources, and ensuring on-time delivery of CNC machines and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders and demand forecasts.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor production progress and update schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and production capacity.
Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
Track production KPIs and prepare planning reports.
Follow up on work orders and ensure timely completion.
Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in machine manufacturing, heavy industry, or steel fabrication is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of MRP, Capacity Planning, Inventory Control, and Production Scheduling.
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Good command of English.
