Role Objectives:
The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, developing procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Engage and validate business needs/requirements, and conduct sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet the company’s requirements.
- Analyze and track procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and follow up on the Contracts Performance Quarterly
- Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance and budget savings as per spend categories
- Take responsibility for deals from budget monitoring & purchasing.
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing
- Receive purchase Requisitions from different departments
- Execution of delivery orders until the delivery is complete.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3+ years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation skills and sourcing strategies
- Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management skills
