Job Description
- Advanced Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed, critical-path construction schedules utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure resource availability and orchestrate seamless, efficient workflows.
- Resource Optimization: Strategically optimize resource allocation and baseline schedules to balance project requirements against operational constraints.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate potential project risks to safeguard timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Progress Monitoring & Control: Track project milestones rigorously, implementing corrective actions to preemptively address delays and keep projects on schedule.
- Financial Integration: Collaborate with the finance department to align construction schedules with budget estimates, cash flow projections, and financial forecasts.
- Site Verification & Governance: Conduct regular site inspections and stakeholder meetings to audit schedule adherence and resolve critical on-site challenges.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical field. Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is highly advantageous.
- Planning & Project Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in construction planning, project management, or scheduling workflows.
- Supply Chain/Demand Background: Proven professional track record as a Demand Planner, Material Planner, or in a structurally equivalent capacity.
- Domain Expertise: Solid operational understanding of modern inventory management practices, supply chain methodologies, and control procedures.
